Villa Sonnehaerd, Woudenbergseweg 21 (N224 Zeist-Woudenberg), is between Zeist en Austerlitz, next to the  KNVB (soccer union) headquarters.

By car:

Ring Utrecht A12 - follow Arnhem. Exit Driebergen/Zeist, go left under the motorway in the direction Zeist, follow the road till the you enter Zeist, go right in direction Austerlitz/Woudenberg. Follow this road ‘till after a curve you see Hotel Oud London, onwards past the roundabout then take the little driveway on the left.

From the A28 Utrecht - Amersfoort, take exit Zeist-Oost / Den Dolder, direction Zeist, follow road past petrol station, go left at traffic lights direction Woudenberg / Austerlitz. Follow road till end (ca. 2,5 km), at the end go left onto the Woudenbergseweg, you’ll see Hotel Oud London, onwards past the roundabout then take the little driveway on the left.

Public transport:

Bus 55 hourly from Zeist busstation, not in evenings though. Get out at the “Woudschoten” stop (at Hotel Oud London). 100m on, Villa’s on the left. From Utrecht CS get bus 53 and change in Zeist, from Driebergen Zeist trainstation bus 74 or 56 and change in Zeist.
Bus 74 Utrecht - Driebergen Zeist goes all evening, hourly, get out at stop called “Prinses Irenelaan”, then its a 15 min walk through the woods.

From Driebergen-Zeist trainstation it’s a 45 min. walk. Leave the station on the Zeist - side (= not where the taxis are), go left, after 100m right onto the “Breullaan”. Follow till end, cross road called “Arnhemse bovenweg”, onto the path into the woods at the “Bilderberg hotel” sign. Always straight on. Cross the bicycle path and still straight on (make sure you dont take the horse- but the footpath). Follow path till end, youll come onto the Woudenbergseweg, go left, Villa’s on the other side of the road next to the footballfields.

Map: de villa is at the black & white flag. Busstop line 54 “Prinses Irenelaan” is at the little green flag. Theres an invisible path through the woods from the green flag to the “Zwitsersekade”, the little road at 90 degree angle with the Woudenbergseweg.

Combined train/ferry ticket from London, Norwich, Cambridge and other East Anglia stations 50 pounds return. Nobody at either stenaline or one railways knows whether it includes It includes Peterborough or not. if you manage to avoid taking central trains services you normally get away with it. theres a direct connection from pb to ipswich run by One nowadays, but its only a 4 or 5 times a day so check first if you can make the connection.
Taking a car on this ferry is rather expensive.

you can get tickets from 25 pounds + up to anywhere in Belgium. Then in Brussels get a return from Essen (Belgian bordertown) to Utrecht, weekendreturns last from friday till sunday, regular returns valid 2 months. Theres 25% discount for under 26's for which you dont need a card, and they never actually ask for age. just ask for a youth ticket ("jongerenbiljet").
Alternatively book via dutch railways, http://www.ns.nl, an apex ('supersaverplus' or youth) eurostar return to anywhere in holland starts at 70 pounds.
Theres a sleeper train from scotland that connects, with singles from 19 pounds.

Car:
cheapest connections are normally Norfolkline (Dover-Dunkerque), http://www.norfolkline.co.uk, usually about 50 pounds for a car + doesnt matter how many passengers.
alternative is trans europa ferries, Ramsgate-Ostende (Belgium). http://www.transeuropaferries.co.uk/
driving from calais takes about 4 1/2 hours, from dunkerque 4 hrs, from ostende 3 1/2 hrs.

Other ferries:
- you can get shared cabins on Hull-Rotterdam, http://www.poferries.com, though its better to call them then to use the website because it sucks and you need to book a bus as well. Prices change daily, sometimes you can get a 30-40 pound single. Theres no reclining seats anymore. Make sure to also book the bus from the port to Rotterdam Central Station (about 3 pounds) when youre booking the ticket Theres no other public transport, though you can try hitchhiking.. You dont need to book the bus from Hull station to Hull docks. Theres also connection National express buses directly to the docks.  bus leaves hull station 5ish pm, rotterdam also 5 pm.
a train ticket from rotterdam to utrecht is not very expensive.

- newcastle - ijmuiden (near amsterdam) can be very cheap, but you need to go with 3 people, because you can only book whole cabins. http://www.dfdsseaways.com/

jumping trains in holland is not advisable. you get a 20 pound penalty ticket, if you cant pay it on the spot they tend to call the railway police. they always only do all-ticket checks. chance to be checked between two mainline stations is about 30%.
so only try it if you're a very good blagger.

hithchiking:
from maidstone services to utrecht usually takes 7-10 hours including ferry. ferry dover-calais is 10 pounds for a foot passenger single. hitchiking at the chunnel usually makes you take an extra day.
